I have decided to grow only fruits and flowers in the home garden henceforth, and grow all my vegetables in the office garden. So the main veggie plot at home will have a small table and chairs surrounded by flowers and fruit trees!

I absolutely love the yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Is that bonsai? I’ve seen it before but it was a huge shrub. Furthermore, how picked that ever so long name for that plant?!
Hi Maybelline, thanks for dropping by. I can only guess – the color of the flower changes from day to day; when it blooms, its nearly purple, the next day, the color fades, and on the third day it becomes white. Maybe that’s the reason for the name? I plan to move it to the ground so that it becomes a bush but haven’t found the right place for it yet!
All the blooms are pretty! The color of your iris is very attractive. As for the vegetables – wow! I am growing fava beans for the first time. My plants are just blooming. Happy gardening to you!
The onions which are fresh and healthy in a bunch, I feel like plucking them and have them with bread butter and tomato ie. sandwich for breakfast.Beans are also very healthy. Happy gardening to you

You don’t have to say a word, the pictures says it all. I love those veggies. So freshly looking and very healthy. It shows how you take care of your garden.
Uncle ur gardening work is really interesting. Could u eloborate more on home gardening tips, keeping a small home green as may be in places such as mumbai, in tiny flats with tips on vermicompost, how to manage green wastage, etc. Do u practice it? If so how do you manage this?
Savitha, I’m sorry it has taken so long to reply. I’m not a professional gardener; I just love growing flowers, veggies and fruits. So all my efforts have been based on trial and error, reading books and articles on the Internet. I do make my own compost but it is more of a natural process than anything. I collect all the unwanted grass, weeds and leaves (greens – nitrogen) and stack them up in layers with the browns (dried leaves, used soil) in a corner, sprinkle rice husk from time to time, and when I find some worms, is gently pick them up by chopsticks and place them in the compost pile. Do start off in pots and I’ll try to give you tips as you grow. All the best.
I agree with the other comments. You have created a micro-environment of healthy plants and produce. I’m a big fan of “pretty”, so I am happy to see that you have such beautiful flowers.

Joan, thanks so much for your kind comments. Yes, I used to work at home, so I rented a small office space that came with land I could use to grow vegetables and flowers. I enjoy time in my plot of land whenever I have some free time and take breaks from my work. Comments like yours encourage me to keep growing more and better! Happy gardening!
